We are now living in a very challenging time, where many are faced with uncertainty all around the world, and difficult circumstances every day.
Although there may be a period of downtime, it is the perfect time to actually renew and restore your energy sources, and realign your path. You may be stuck working from home, having to juggle parenting and work, or even simple things like missing your usual routines like going to the salon to get pampered, shopping, and socializing. Whatever it may be, we are all now facing a time where we are forced to truly look within ourselves, and reassess our focus and path.
To prepare yourself for your post quarantine debut and reveal, and really have renewed energy and glow, here are some top tips for rituals you can do every day, to reveal a better you!
1. Purge old energy!
This is a message to all you hoarders out there, that hoard everything from makeup, old embarrassing outfits, to outdated decor. Now is a great time to purge old energy, out with the old, in with the new. If you want to make space for a better and brighter you, it starts with your home, your possessions, and your surroundings.
Whatever we have in our surroundings is a reflection of our inner thoughts. Take this time to purge old energy so that you will be able to attract better and brighter things. Chuck out that old sofa set, those ’00s outfits you will never wear again, or better yet give it to charity and watch your space improve.
2. Reassess your relationships.
Now is a great time to be truly evaluating the relationships in your life. Be honest with yourself and see the people around you, and if they really add value in your life. There is no harm in letting go of people that were once close to you if you feel you are no longer aligned on the same mindset, path, or life cycle.
We all have friends and family members who are meant for only some periods in our life. If you want to do something, but have been held back by the relationships in your life, now is the time to reflect and reassess!
3. Create a good self-care morning routine
Every successful person who have a positive and vibrant energy, allocates an hour or so in the morning, exclusively for themselves. This is so important, particularly for mothers who wear many hats.
In this period of quarantine, it is even more important to ensure you give yourself the time and self-love you truly deserve! Meditate, take that 30- minute yoga or pilates routine, pamper your skin, and feel your true light within!
4. Exercise and create good lifestyle habits.
Excellence is not an act, it is a habit, and in the case of having a truly elevated and positive lifestyle, you must be aware of what you put in your body and what you do every day. You can even start off by doing online classes or youtube videos doing light exercise 20-30 minutes a day. Learn how to cook your favorite foods which you usually would go out to eat, to make a healthier version. Clean your surroundings daily, so that you can start yourself off in the right headspace. Every single thing you do, the choices you make in food and exercise, contribute to a better, brighter you!
5. Clear your home space energy and feng shui with crystals
Crystals have long been known throughout history to promote certain types of energy, and has been used by royalty throughout civilizations to harness positive and clear energy.
Feng shui practice is also known to incorporate crystals within the home to promote vibrant energy fields so that you may be able to attract wealth, abundance and positivity. Start with finding a nice clear quartz or amethyst cluster and place it in your living room. This will centralize your energy sources and clear out negative fields.
6. Write down all the things you were grateful for, and visualize a new you
Now that we are all house-bound, I am sure we can all agree that there are many things we had taken for granted. Our favorite restaurant and cafes, our friends, our social life, shopping, even going out to the local grocery store. Now is the time to reflect and give thanks for the many things we have taken for granted.
Gratitude has been scientifically proven to rewire your brain pattern and thinking, as positive thoughts attract positive vibrations. If you wish to have a better life than what you are living now, whether it may be your personal circumstance, living situation, family life or money, visualize the person you want to be, your surroundings and the people you wish to be with, and think of these with gratitude and thanks, and feel your energy align.
7. Create a debut bucket list
Now is a great time for us to be reviewing what we want to do post-quarantine. Write down all of the places you wanted to go to, and make a plan and execute!
If you have always wanted to take a Euro trip or traveled somewhere exotic, but never took the time or saved for it, now is the time to do so. We are in a great position where we are able to reflect on our past life and see what is truly lacking. If you ever wanted to take lessons for singing, dancing or artistry, do it! There are courses that we are able to do at home at the touch of a button, and from youtube, which will prepare us for our post-quarantine debut!
Do all of these things daily, to renew your energy, attract positivity, and watch yourself become a new you!
