The right shoe can do wonders. I feel like, at the start of the new year, nothing gets you on the right path than getting various pairs of shoes for your different endeavors.
There’s the shoe which is for your daily errands. There’s a shoe for the party and your aspirations. You have a reliable pair for hours at the airport as you jet off to your next destinations.
There is a shoe you wear to feel like you can do anything. These days, I’m looking at Giuseppe Zanotti with their new spring/summer campaign. It’s all about the spirit of feminism, confident, strong, and sensual.
I like how the photos reflect what you can aspire to: sparkling waters that signify pool parties and even beach outings. The shoes are for your midi-skirts and cocktails, at least that’s what I imagine.
“For Spring 2020, I wanted to create a kind of stylistic clean slate,” says founder and designer Giuseppe Zanotti. “This campaign conveys my ethos of beauty and strength; style and craftsmanship.”
This campaign features four different silhouettes. All of which reflects Zanotti’s take on style and signature approach to shoes.
First up the “Lillium.” Featuring a gorgeous, oversize leather-constructed lily, the new season sandal is inspired by couture craft and nature’s inherent beauty. Captured on deck—in a sea of shadows—the stand-out stiletto is a study in ease, elegance and all things chic.
The “Catia” is deceivingly simple but utterly enticing. Crafted with a suggestive, cut- out heel, the sleek sandal exalts the foot with its flourish of straps and sensual minimalism.
Channeling the ‘70s, the “Bebe” platform is a contemporary homage to a silhouette that is at once powerful and sassy.
It’s not all heels, of course. The “Phoebe” with its cheeky block heel, strong T-strap, and dazzling crystal-encrusted floral brooch proves there is more than one way to turn heads.
