In a country where the climate can turn humid, I usually just apply concealer and powder. The turn to the cold front and monsoon rains got me thinking about foundation again. More parties, which means more festive looks, in the last three months of the year also means I want more coverage.
My gateway product back to foundation wearing is a color-correcting cream. On hot days in between the rains, I like the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte (P2,650). It doesn’t feel sticky on the face but is quite opaque after one layer. I also like how it has SPF 40, which adds protection when you use it on top of your sunblock.
A summer pick which I’m learning to integrate into my beauty routine again this season is the Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural Glow Foundation (P3,430). This foundation creates a skin-like finish. It also has skincare ingredients like white cocoa bean extract, along with probiotic derivatives and prebiotics to help balance your skin ad keep it hydrated.
