Artist Jigger Cruz is no doubt one of my favorites. So I just had to feature him in an installment of “Conversations with…” Inside his home, you could see how he has a story for each piece, usually relating to friends and curiosities that fuel his works.
Going inside his home felt like going to your favorite hangout. There weren’t any pretentions. You’re welcome to relax and be with like-minded people. It’s not by any means intimidating, in fact, I would say it’s a little inspiring. Looking up at the ceiling which looks like abstract art and across the walls that contain artworks from Cruz’s friends gave me a happy feeling. And I think any home should be that way, whether you’re an artist or not.
