Gabbie Sarenas is one young designer to keep an eye on. Season after season, she’s delivered interesting designs that usually involve Filipino tradition. Her latest one entitled “__________” is Gabbie’s take on the works of Fernando Amorsolo, delivering the same silhouttes and techniques she’s worked while showcasing Amorsolo’s signature elements.
Here, we took a breather with Gabbie for some questions about her life as a designer and also her thoughts outside the atelier.
What will you do if you are gifted with a pair of Crocs?
If the back is closed, I can use it for driving. If not, can still use it.
