Dress your children in The Row

Fashion / September 29, 2021

Debuted at Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King Park, The Row launched their first children’s collection yesterday. And it’s every bit of cool and chic that we expect from the Olsen twins.

Being child stars themselves indeed adds to the approach for this new line. Definitively, their point-of-view is educated by the success the brand has received–the luxury fashion label for the effortlessly cool.

“The items have to have a sense of practicality, ease, and comfort. We think of this for our main collections, but it’s even more important for kids. Over the past 10 years, we’ve personalized cashmere onesie and blanket sets for our clients and friends who have had kids. We wanted to explore that in a bigger way,” said Mary-Kate to W.

There is no flash and flamboyance to the collection, which is a good thing. It’s practical without being dowdy, luxurious without pretentiousness. You get cashmere pants, crewnecks, belted cardigans, hats, and velvet slip-ons. Parents and children can definitely go twinning with their respective The Row ensembles.

Ashley noted how the clothes are to let children move freely. “Kids are the heart of creativity. They should be able to pick and choose what they want to wear, no matter what.”

Created from children ages 2 to 10 years, the collection has a price range of $390 to $790. On top of that, proceeds will be donated to children’s charities in Los Angeles, New York, and London.

The capsule collection is available in The Row stores and online.
