Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Kanye West love working with this trendsetting label

Fashion / October 28, 2019

I was lucky this October that I was able to glimpse the newest collection of Giuseppe Zanotti at their showroom in New York.

The shoe brand always intrigues me and their latest offering doesn’t disappoint.

Lilum is a fun shoe with a flower detail which makes for a compliment-hoarding shoe.

I also like the Samia for a shoe that can go with a midi skirt.

If you find yourself vacationing somewhere cold this coming holidays, it would be nice to pack something like the Hattie.

The fall/winter collection also has something for men, including the Davey for an update to casual wear, the Thomas for the fun guy, and the Moore for that swanky night-out.

Then again, what did I expect from the brand which creates iconic pairs for celebrities and with various artists.

Zanotti marries Italian craftmanship with exciting and irreverent designs. Case in point is the collaboration they had with Christian Cowan. Featuring watches for shoe straps, it’s fun and funky.

It reminds me a little bit of the same vibe of the “Cruel Summer” shoes Zanotti made with Kanye West. It’s sculptural and truly a collector’s item for any shoe-holic.

Music icons are always drawn to Zanotti and his work. Rihanna’s “Anti” World Tour featured custom-made chap boots. It inspired so many Instagram #OOTDs. It’s also proof that you get more than what meets the eye with a Zanotti shoe. Those boots had to be both statement-making and comfortable as she worked the stage.

Jennifer Lopez also collaborated with Zanotti, bringing in her signature aesthetic. The shoes featured crystal-encrusted open-toe booties, snakeskin gladiator heels and even a pair of embellished wedge sneakers.

One of the latest collabs Zanotti has is with British artist Rita Ora. Fresh off her music tour featuring custom Zanotti shoes, these shoes carry Rita’s attention-grabbing style.

As a special treat, I’m also sharing a beautiful behind-the-scenes video on how Giuseppe Zanotti shoes are made: by hand with attention to detail and with love for each person’s individuality.

You can grab a pair of Zanotti shoes via Net-A-Porter, Luisaviaroma or Farfetch.
